Summary

This series of twilight sessions will engage teachers with science education research through a practical, teacher-led focus. Initial sessions will focus on different approaches to research and how teachers can engage with (or generate their own) research. We will utilise a framework to support planning and progress in teacher research developed by Dr Miranda Dodd from University of Southampton, which supports teacher progression with research.

Sessions will run between November and July (six in total) and there will be a gap task between each session which will support teachers in implementing their ideas.

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • Identify how you can engage with research to impact in the classroom
