Year 3 - Stage 8
This resource provides a lesson plan and supporting resources that help Year 3 pupils to produce a food product using the design technology and maths curriculum. Through these resources children will work as part of a group, using previously grown herbs to create their own food product to market in later sessions. This session provides pupils with real-life, meaningful opportunities to apply their maths learning in key areas of weight and estimation. These resources encourage children to safely prepare food and to understand where certain foods come from. This session is eight in a ten session STEM project provided by NFU Education.
