Summary
This course is aimed at teachers new to the subject of biology and will build up subject knowledge, confidence and skills through the exploration of demonstrations and practicals so that you can link basic concepts to more complex ideas. Using a range of engaging and effective strategies, you will design, deliver and evaluate post-16 learning.

- describe some key misconceptions and how to approach these in order to help your students develop confidence in biology
- develop subject knowledge in key ideas at post-16
- link basic concepts to more complex ideas
- design, deliver and evaluate learning episodes at post-16
