Station hunt
In this maths based activity learners will find stations along a rail network, based on journey times and using a known starting position. The task involves adding different combinations of journey times to identify the answer.
Materials include an activity overview and presentation, with activity sheets with answers.
This is one of a series of resources designed by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) in conjunction with Network Rail to develop understanding and skills in key maths, science and engineering concepts.
