Facilitating with STEM Learning - for PSTT Only FD102 / Y05
Summary
Note that this course is for facilitators that are undertaking Stage 1 of the Facilitator Development Programme.
This course will enable participants to understand more about STEM Learning, our programmes and our expectations. We will cover how our programmes have research and evidence embedded within them and how we maximise impact to those accessing our CPD. We will explain how we support facilitators through the provision of course materials and how these can used to plan delivery. The STEM Learning processes of the Impact Toolkit and STEM Certificates will also be covered to ensure that, as facilitators, you will be able to encourage participants to engage with these systems.

You will be able to:
- understand the STEM Learning CPD development and quality-assurance processes support evidence-based teacher professional development
- use STEM Learning content and facilitator guidance to support effective CPD sessions
- use tools and approaches for planning and evaluating classroom impact
- know the roles and responsibilities of facilitators and other key CPD stakeholders
