Integrating careers into your primary science curriculum RJ198 / C74
Summary
Every pupil should have had the opportunity to learn how the different STEM subjects help people to gain entry to, and be more effective workers within, a wide range of careers. But how early should we start exposing children to the world of work?
Join us for a session at New York Primary School, hosted by Julia Bourne, who has successfully integrated careers into their Primary Science curriculum from as early as Early Years Foundation Stage.
This session will look at the rationale behind exposing children from a very young age to careers whilst also putting the primary science content and curriculum into a meaningful context.
