Summary

This workshop will demonstrate how a club leader can revitalise and maintain interest in an existing STEM Club. It will look at identifying how to bring added benefit to your club that supports the needs of the students, the school and you the club leader. The workshop will explore diversity and inclusivity, gaining support from colleagues and senior leadership, enhancing student engagement, and broadening the appeal of the club. By the end of the workshop you will know how to draft and implement a STEM club improvement plan that you can share with colleagues and senior leadership. This workshop will also highlight resources & activity ideas that can be used to engage students in environmental issues. This course will feature a guest speaker from the Manta Trust who will be sharing some of their school resources. This speaker may be of particular interest to coastal schools, though resources featured will be suited to all locations.

This course is aimed at staff from Secondary schools, Sixth Form and FE Colleges in England looking to revitalise and enhance an existing Eco Club. Suitable for experienced club leaders
