Summary

Over the two days, teachers will develop confidence and experience of practical work directly linked to KS1 and KS2 World Around Us topics. Participants will rotate round more than 10 practicals, gain access to the resources and work with other teachers and coordinators to plan ways to embed the practicals into their school's specific thematic units.

Outcomes

Teachers will:

  • experience first-hand science activities to embed within their curriculum
  • share practice and plan with other teachers and coordinators how to embed the activities into the schools' thematic units
  • develop and contribute to a "bank" of resources to share and use within their own school.
