Summary

This course will support you in using a range of digital devices and online tools to support collaborative learning in your classroom. You will explore different types of collaboration and how these can be facilitated using digital tools. You will learn how to use whole class digital learning environments to set and manage collaborative tasks, as well as exploring strategies to ensure learning of all pupils during collaborative tasks. You will explore and gain hands-on experience using other apps and tools which support collaboration in the primary STEM classroom, such as creating whole class mind maps or gathering information/answers from all pupils. Finally, you will learn how the use of digital tools can support the communication of information, such as through the use of QR codes or creation of electronic resources that can be shared electronically with pupils.
