Summary

This session of DC Circuit Theory 2 for A-Level Physics will focus on 

DC Circuit Theory 2:Current and Charge , Mean drift velocity,  I=nave, Resistivity of a wire ,Electrical power and Energy , Exams techniques and Misconceptions.

 

This is session 3 of 4 days for A-level Physics, each date will be focusing on different topics.

17th Oct: Forces and Motion
21st Nov: DC Circuit Theory 1
30th Jan: DC Circuit Theory 2
27th Feb: Thermal Physics and Circular Motion
Each day course will cost £200 for state funded schools / £400 per day (independent schools) (new price with STEM from 1st September) Total course prices for all 4 dates = £800 /  £1600
These courses currently have a special offer for State funded schools only in Bucks, West Herts & East Berks of a TRP payback (Teacher Release Payment).
We are offering a 50% TRP on each individual day - Meaning your overall paid cost per day will be £100.
HOWEVER - if you book all 4 days we will increase your TRP to 70%, meaning your overall amount paid per day will be £60. = £240 for all 4 days.

Teacher release payback offer information - 
At time of booking your school will be invoiced and charged the full £200 per day price. This invoice is to be paid in full as per the terms and conditions. 
Aprox 8 weeks after each course date your school will receive a refund of your TRP value as a payback. 
To get your refund your school must complete and return to us at the Hub a TRP form, which will be emailed to you when you book your course through the hub at the email address above.

  • subject knowledge of A-Level Physics - DC Circuit Theory 2
  • develop engaging and highly effective approaches to the teaching of core content including practical demonstrations and investigations
  • develop a wide skills set amongst your learners, including mathematical skills, application skills and independent learning.

A Subject Knowledge enhancement course for teachers who are new to teaching A level Physics. This will include key practical work with hands-on setting up equipment.
