CPD Implementation: Secondary Programming CZ106D / C23
Summary
Remote support session around the theme of Secondary Programming.
This is a follow-up session for those who have already attended Teach Computing CPD on the above theme.
CPD Implementation Sessions are designed to help you implement what you have learned on previously attended NCCE CPD.
Each Session is led by an experienced Professional Development Leader who is there to advise you.
Please consider queries or topics you would like to discuss before attending; these are not standalone sessions, they are question-and-answer sessions.
The Sessions are of particular benefit to Computing Cluster school staff who have attended CPD around their Cluster’s chosen dimension of the Computing Quality Framework and would like support to implement what they have learned in the classroom. However, the Sessions are open to all NCCE course participants.
Examples of NCCE CPD you could have attended previously:
- An Introduction to algorithms, programming and data in computer science - remote
- Python programming constructs: sequencing, selection & iteration - remote
- Python programming: working with data - remote
- Solving computational problems in KS3 computing
- Teaching GCSE computer science pedagogy for programming - face to face
Who is it for?
Those who have attended CPD related to the topic - especially in the course of participation in a Computing Cluster.
Who is the course leader?
Outcomes
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their own challenges with implementation of CPD, and share solutions and best practice with each other.
