VSTEAM Education STEM Workshops

STEM Workshops

We are an award-winning educational service for schools and other educational institutions, providing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Workshops).

We have 16 incredible engaging hands-on workshops to offer suitable for all ages. Some of our workshops include:

Bridge Building

Dive into bridge engineering through hands-on practical work. Explore various bridge types, including arch, beam, cantilever, suspension, and truss bridges. Learn the intricacies of load transfers and design a stable bridge.

Renewable Energy

Investigate generator mechanics, kinetic and gravitational potential energy, and the vital role of renewable energy in addressing climate change. Children construct a working toy windmill to illuminate a small LED bulb.

Coding, Robotics and Python

We have a whole range of coding and robotics workhops suitable for all ages. Please click here to see all our coding workshops.

Aircraft

Gain insights into aircraft aerodynamics through practical experiments. Understand lift, thrust, drag, weight, and centre of gravity while building a lightweight cardstock indoor glider for hands-on flight control experimentation.

Biology (Microscopes)

Explore the microscopic world of cells, microorganisms, and photosynthesis. Enhance biology knowledge with fun, microscope-based activities, offering stunning 1000x magnification views of organisms.

Space and Solar System

Embark on a cosmic journey with seven practical and hands-on experiments to explore space and our planets. Explore curriculum-based topics such as gravity, forces, and motion with micro:bit activities.
