Summary

Are you a physics teacher looking to improve your understanding of the mathematics required to be successful in teaching physics at A level? If so, this is the perfect course for you!

We know there's an increased mathematical demand in in both the GCSE and A level physics specifications. This course explores a range of teaching and learning strategies for successful integration of mathematics skills in A level physics to develop deeper understanding of mathematics and physics concepts. We'll discuss how to support students to apply their GCSE mathematics knowledge in an A level context and learn the mathematics behind the physics in order to teach for understanding.
