Gain a deeper understanding of the aims of the primary design and technology curriculum, develop your own subject knowledge and identify the role subject leaders’ play in developing a whole school approach to teaching the programmes of study for KS1 and KS2.
Take the opportunity to reflect on your current D&T curriculum to ensure children are offered a genuine and progressive experience. Investigate a range of formative and summative assessment approaches to support the effective monitoring of the subject and discover the key roles for a subject leader as well as potential challenges and solutions to leading change.
