Are you a primary science subject leader seeking to make a lasting impact at your school?

STEM Learning, through funding from DP World, are thrilled to be able to offer a FULLY FUNDED package of support to provide primary science leadership training in your area. Aiming to empower you to drive positive change across your entire school, this CPD package worth over £1600 also includes a £300 subsidy*.  

This blended CPD (partly face to face and partly remote) will equip you with the tools and insights needed to create meaningful shifts in science education. You'll receive personalised guidance, expert advice, and ongoing support to understand your role and explore science within your school context.

The fully funded package includes:

  • Two days of intensive face to face CPD in York, plus a 2-hour remote**
  • Two half days of face to face CPD in the local area
  • 1.5 hours of 1:1 coached support for you to focus on a particular area of school improvement with a primary science expert

The key themes explored in this CPD include:

  • Science in your school: Gain insights into the current state of science education at your institution
  • Teaching and learning leadership: Elevate science teaching practices
  • Raising the profile of science: Advocate for science within your school community
  • Reflect and consolidate: Throughout the course, you’ll reflect on your role, consolidate your knowledge, and refine your leadership approach
