AQA GCSE science core foundation

The book provides extensive support for the students taking the new GCSE with AQA, with a strong emphasis throughout on how science works. It focuses on real-life contexts, allowing students to understand that science is not always centred in a laboratory.

The book aims to motivate and engage students with many up-to-date applications and ideas. This is a book based firmly in the 21st century. The pages are packed full of activities to help students prepare for the new investigative skills assignment, while continuing to provide plenty of questions for homework and practice in external exams.

Foundation-tier students will find clear, understandable text supported by quality diagrams, plus directed help in progressing their skills in areas such as enquiry and data handling.

When used in addition to the higher student's book these two titles provide comprehensive differentiation in teaching AQA core science to students of all abilities. The authors include experienced examiners, successful writers and practising teachers.
