Bringing school home: children and parents learning together

Written specifically for parents of children between the ages of 4 and 9, this book suggests a range of activities for parents and children to explore together in order to encourage children to reflect on what they learn at school.

In each chapter of the book a quiz follows the suggested activity and is used as a prompt for the parent to analyze what happened whilst the activity took place. The authors offer information on the National Curriculum.

The 'Impact' project stimulated this book and is used in over 500 schools around Britain and over 20,000 children participate in the home maths activities shared with parents.
