Fraction set
This set of noggins gives children an opportunity to explore mathematical relationships and patterns. Children will naturally find that two of the same noggin will match a longer noggin. Children's discovery will lay the foundations for doubling, halving, exploration of number, pattern and simple fractions. The noggins have been cut to lengths that allow children to see halves, quarters, eights, fifths and tenths.
Through play, children might even discover that a half, a quarter and three tenths make a whole 20cm stick.
The fraction set includes the following lengths:
- 1 x 20cm
- 1 x 16cm
- 2 x 10cm
- 2 x 8cm
- 4 x 4cm
- 10 x 2cm.
