Make an infrared game

In this activity, students are asked to design an infra-red ‘tag’ game which incorporates emitter and detector circuits. The detector needs to be attachable to clothing and indicate when you have been ‘tagged’ by another player. The development of their ideas should involve sketching and CAD modelling, such as ProDesktop/ProEngineer/Creo or Solid Works.

This activity, from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), is designed to follow on from the ‘Input, Process and Output’ activity in the  Wii collection of resources.
