Attitudes at Work
This activity combines the learning of mathematics with reflection about attitudes to work. Students receive a set of cards, each card having a number on one side and a letter on the other. The teacher chooses appropriate numbers and letters to fit with the ability level of the students and the area of study. Students are required to make appropriate words and calculate each words numerical value.
