Stem and Leaf
This excel workbook shows how to construct a stem and leaf diagram. The first sheet has some raw data at the top and a blank stem and leaf diagram with appropriate key is shown below. The cells in the stem and leaf diagram can be revealed or hidden and by clicking on one of the numbers in the stem the corresponding raw data items are highlighted. The next two sheets deal with other data including decimals in a similar manner.
There is another sheet of questions on this topic and box and whisker diagrams which may be suitable for duplication.
Note:
This program was designed by be viewed on a screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768. Users may have to adjust the resolution of their screen for the pages to display as was originally intended. The program uses macros which need to be enabled on users' machines.
