Black Sea Maritime Archaeology Project: Career Profiles

These career profiles provide information on the wide range of people involved in the Black Sea Maritime Archaeology Project (@BlackSeaMAP), a three-year interdisciplinary expedition researching ancient coastlines and seafaring history of the Bulgarian Black Sea and included the discovery of the world’s oldest, intact shipwreck. 

Experts from universities, research institutes and companies across the world, led by the University of Southampton, learned more about the past by working together, carrying out interdisciplinary research centred on maritime archaeology. This set of career profiles introduces a range of people in the project, including their study/career path and the skills they need for their job.
