Deep Mind resources

This resource allows students to explore advances that neural technology can offer to healthcare, focusing upon epilepsy. The 30 minute Deep Mind film acts as a starting point to the activities that follow. These include role play considering the ethics involved in the use of optogenetics (gene therapy with bio-electric implants) and opportunities for discussion and debate using persuasive language. Other tasks are research based and include writing a news article and quiz to solidify knowledge.
