Interactive Whiteboards and Secondary Science Revision

Produced by Becta, these case studies illustrate how information communication technology (ICT) can be used to enhance teaching and learning in science.

This case study looks at a range of revision techniques employed using the interactive whiteboard. For example, using PowerPoint and commercially available revision software to present concepts at the start of a lesson before students work independently on a particular concept. Interactive whiteboards can also be used to motivate students with 'tests' in the form of interactive quizzes and games.
