Drama 4 Learning - KS1

This Teachers TV programme shows how one teacher incorporates drama into a mathematics lesson on number at reception and Key Stage One.

Terri English at Great Hockham School in Norfolk uses the technique of "Teacher In Role" playing the part of a café owner to make her lesson more engaging for the children, stimulating the creative side of their brains.

This school was part of the Drama for Learning and Creativity initiative D4LC, pioneered by Patrice Baldwin of Norfolk County Council Children's Services. Patrice explains how she uses it to train teachers to improve their drama techniques and deliver drama lessons across all areas of the curriculum.
