David M. Bailey's public profile

David currently leads a large Area Learning Partnership. With 25 years of experience in education and 10 years working in school improvement, David has extensive experience in both primary and secondary education, providing support for school leaders and governors.

In working with schools, David draws on his advisory and leadership experience, having previously been a Director of Research School, Network Education Lead and Regional Development Lead for STEM Learning, taking a leading role in the Triple Science Support Programme. Much of this work involved the development of evidence-informed CPD programmes and the development of other facilitators.

David has significant experience in facilitating professional learning (CPD) for leaders and teachers with demonstrable impact. He is an accredited trainer for a variety of providers including most NPQ programmes, many Research School programmes and also holds STEM Learning Senior Facilitator status. He has designed and delivered a number of STEM-specific CPD programmes, focusing on leadership and physics. He is currently an adviser for two local ENTHUSE partnerships.
