Amanda P's public profile

Having initially completing BSc Hons Physics and Astronomy at Cardiff University, Amanda went on to complete a Secondary Physics PGCE at Warwick University. She taught in Coventry secondary schools for 17 years working as a Physics AST and during this period also completed her MSc Science Education at Warwick University, researching the impact of Robotic Telescopes on students learning about the Universe. In recent years Amanda has moved into the Primary sector, setting up the first Phiz Lab with the support of The Ogden Trust. Amanda currently works as an Ogden Teacher Fellow as well as being a PSTT College Fellow as well as her teaching commitment at the Phiz Lab. She is undertaking a part-time PhD at Warwick Univerity, researching the impact of labs in primary schools as well as developing the Space Camp UK project with the support of the Shine Trust.
