Allie's public profile

I am a freelance primary science consultant who has extensive knowledge and experience of working with primary schools. I was a primary school teacher for 20 years becoming an Advanced Skills Teacher in science working within Plymouth LA. I left teaching to specialise in primary science, leading the Primary Professional Learning Department for STEM Learning in Bristol. During this time, I supported primary science teachers throughout the South West and a group of subject leaders through the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM). More recently I have worked with Bath Spa University on the Thinking, Doing, Talking Science project based on research from Oxford Brookes University and Science Oxford and also the Focus4TAPS research programme led by Bath Spa University. I have also provided CPD for the Ogden Trust facilitating their talk for science EYFS CPD partnership programme. I currently hold the senior facilitator CPD quality mark badge and have delivered numerous courses for STEM Learning partnerships throughout the South West and further afield when required.
