A teacher passionate about students accessing the best educational opportunities through well trained and effective practitioners.
I have experienced of leading teaching and leading at SLT level (17 years), 4 years working as a consultant with the National Centre for Computing Education and STEM Learning and 8 years of being a director of two companies.
I love working with young people, but I also value highly working with teachers and School Leaders.
Since training as a Professional Development Leader, I have trained to Senior PDL level and regularly deliver the Professional Development Leader Training from Associate to Senior level and across the additional CPD modules.
While my areas of expertise are computing, Teaching and Learning, Delivering Professional Development and working with School Trusts, I have a great passion for working collaboratively and life long learning.
My journey into learning has passed through Theology, Philosophy, PSHE, Computing, Pedagogical research, Outdoors Education, Foreign Languages, Music and Organisational Change.
As a teacher, Senior Leader in Education, Entrepreneur, Company Director and Endurance athlete I have learnt that passion, commitment, resilience, consistency, determination and team spirit are essential to grow personally and professionally.
My motto is: La vita e' bella... most impactful form of learning... learning from our mistakes.
Best thing over the last four years: having worked with so many amazing people who also happen to be incredible STEM educators.
