MarkLangley's public profile

I am the Science CPD Lead at the National STEM Learning Centre, York. With a chemistry and physics background, I have taught in a number of secondary schools and was head of department, as well as an examiner and a health and safety officer, before moving to work within STEM Learning in 2008.

My current role is to lead the primary and secondary science teams, developing and delivering effective immersive CPD to teachers, technicians and others involved in supporting STEM within UK schools. I also regularly design and supports STEM projects overseas, to help countries develop effective STEM teaching, through face-to-face training. Additionally, I give guidance and support for effective health and safety to schools, along with lab design advice.
