Shane Clark BSc(Hons), MSc, MBA, QTS, PGCE, PGDE, NPQH, CPhys, CsciTeach, CTeach, MInstP
Shane has over 25 years’ experience of teaching in a variety of educational settings as well as a range of successful leadership roles including Head of Science (establishing a new department) and Assistant Principle in two challenging schools.
As a Local Authority Science Adviser, Shane developed and applied his expertise providing rigorous support, advice and guidance in science, curriculum development, leadership and management, assessment, and school improvement.
Shane leads a successful educational consultancy, the Thames Valley Science Network, to support the development of science and maths education across the Thames Valley region. He remains passionate about teaching and learning, working two days a week teaching mathematics and science at a school in Oxford as well as supporting a range of projects: Tutor for Subject Knowledge for Physics Teaching project run by The Ogden Trust, Tutor for the Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics programme run by the NCTEM, Senior Physics Coach as part of the Stimulating Physics Network, and hub leader for the PSQM.
