Nuffield Advanced Physics: Handbook for Teachers

The Nuffield Advanced Physics Handbook for Teachers was published by the Nuffield Foundation in 1994 to help teachers manage the redrafted version of the Nuffield Advanced Physics syllabus examined for the first time in 1996. It showed teachers how to use the publications for Revised Nuffield Advanced Physics to teach the amended course. In particular it included:

notes on what students were likely to need help with at the start of their A-level course, including mathematics

notes on the new syllabus structure and the new A-level core, and a detailed list of experiments and questions in the course books which should be covered

advice on coursework and how it was to be assessed.
