Maths Games in the Classroom - Books 12 to 22

These Eigen publications booklets contain a large number of games which almost exclusively focus on developing understanding of number and practicing number skills. Many of the games are ‘box games’ which involve students putting individual one or two digit numbers into ‘boxes’ to achieve some objective.

* Integer addition games of directed numbers in the range -12 to +12.

* Further co-ordinate games gives practice in plotting and reading co-ordinates on simple grids.

* Addition box games develop place value using totals, orderings and target numbers.

* Subtraction box games develops place value and provides subtraction skills practice.

* Fraction box games mainly focuses on helping students to compare and order fractions.

* More place value games links practical activities to support early notions of place value.

*Subtraction games practices mental subtraction of single-digit numbers from two-digit numbers.

The booklets are largely independent of each other.
