Revision for GCSE Through Groupwork

This resource from SMILE consists of sets of question cards, which are differentiated by level, and include answers which can be photocopied onto the back of the card. They are best used for group work to promote discussion and collaborative learning. Different models of using the cards are suggested in the resource.

Multiplication - simple and long multiplication, multiplying decimals, finding a fraction of an amount
Accuracy - rounding to decimal places and significant figures, estimating answers
Equations - solving simple linear equations, quadratic equations, inequalities, simultaneous equations
Algebra - simplifying expressions, expanding brackets, factorising quadratics
Area - area of rectangles, triangles, compound shapes, paralellograms, trapeziums, circles
Volume - volume of cuboids, triangular prisms, cylinders, cones, pyramids, spheres
Angle - types of angles, measuring angles, angles on a line, at a point, alternate and corresponding angles, angles in polygons
Statistics - reading information from graphs, finding mean, mode, median, drawing scatter diagrams and pie charts, estimating mean from grouped data, drawing and using cumulative frequency graphs
Probability - probability scale, expected outcomes, tree diagrams, sample spaces, conditional probability
