Count, Read and Order Whole Numbers Up To 100

This series of interactive excel sheets aimed at students in Year Two looks at counting, reading and ordering whole numbers up to 100. Answers can be checked each time and new questions generated at the click of a button. To return to the menu page click on the musical note button.

In the first sheet students are read the value of a three digit number. The correct wording can be revealed one line at a time.

In the second sheet students have to build a given number by selecting the correct amount of tens and units. In the following sheet students can repeat this using an animated abacus by clicking the ‘T’ and ‘U’ buttons.

The fourth sheet generated two values, including weights, lengths and money. Students have to select either the greater or smaller value.

In the fifth sheet students have to select a number that is great than or less than a given value from a list of six possible options.

The sixth sheet contains a number line between 0 and 10. Students have to place five integers in the correct place on the line.

The next sheets contains a 100 number square with missing values. Students have to click on a blank space in which a given value should be. More numbers can be revealed to aid pupils by clicking the ‘clue’ button. In the following page students have to complete eight blank spaces within the number square. In the final puzzle of this type students have to consider other number patterns by completing 13 blanks within a diagonal pattern.

In the tenth sheet students have to complete missing values in a given number sequence from a list of 10 possible values.

In the final sheet students have to place five monetary values in order from smallest to largest.
