Change champions!: a British Science Association challenge pack for National Science and Engineering Week

Aimed at primary level, this pack contains ten activities on the theme of change. The activities cover a mixture of topics including; the weather, erosion, movement, sound, light, dissolving, change of state, colour, growth, microorganisms and design and technology. Designed either for use in class or within a science week or club, the activities promote investigative work and communication skills.

They include: observing the growth of mould on fruit, investigating memory, making a structure that can withstand the weather, making instruments and investigating flight in paper planes. Teachers' notes include concise summaries of the science involved in the investigations and provide suggestions for extension including longer term projects. This resource is part of the British Science Association’s National Science & Engineering Week activity pack series.
