Biology resource pack for GCSE
This pack contains resources appropriate to GCSE biology, human biology and attainment targets 2-5 of the National Curriculum in science. The contents include photocopiable self-assessment questions, exercises and discussion questions, and lists of resources.
Each chapter has a set of self-assessment questions which test the student's retention and understanding of a biology topic. Answers are provided on separate sheets so that the students can assess their own performance, if the teacher wishes.
The exercises and discussion questions test the student's ability to handle data, construct or construe graphs and charts, evaluate hypotheses, design experiments and interpret experimental results.
The resource lists consist of titles and brief descriptions of reference books, articles, films, videos, slides, filmstrips and other equipment appropriate to each chapter or section. Names and addresses of manufacturers or suppliers are also given.
