e-Bug

e-Bug is a European-wide antibiotic and hygiene teaching resource for junior and senior school children. The project is lead by the UK Health Protection Agency (HPA) and involves a consortium of 18 partner EU countries.

The resources contain extensive teacher guidance, stimulus materials, animations and suggestions for student activities. They cover the topics of:

* Harmful microbes
* Hand hygiene
* Food hygiene
* Respiratory hygiene
* Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
* Immune defences
