Enrichment and Enhancement in Triple Science: Guides for Teachers and Curriculum Leaders

This suite of guides are designed to support the development of aspects of enrichment and enhancement across a selection of topics which address Ofqual’s generic criteria for separate sciences. These are not specific to any awarding body. All teachers recognise that some parts of science can be difficult or less exciting to teach and this can be even more problematic if it is outside your area of expertise. Similarly some areas lend themselves to extension through links with external agencies or by direct contact with ‘real world scientists’. As a starting point when considering the inclusion of enhancement and enrichment in the curriculum, these guides provide background information and practical suggestions.
