Farming STEMterprise

This set of Farming STEMterprise projects take children through all aspects of setting up a farm shop business, through practical science and design and technology lessons for each year group. This includes:

  • Deciding which crop to grow whilst considering seasonality
  • Growing their own ingredients
  • Considering nutrition when designing their recipes
  • Using market research as a business tool
  • Working within a budget
  • Using knife skills when creating their products
  • Calculating pricing and profit
  • Designing responsible packaging
