Kitchen Chaos

This interactive resource aimed at Key Stage Two intoduces the idea of separating materials. A chef has muddled his cooking ingredients and asks children to identify them by looking at their properties. Kitchen Chaos is an interactive computer programme that can be used by individual pupils, or small groups. It could also be used to introduce a practical investigation on separating mixtures. This resource is part of the ASE SYCD: Science Year Primary collection.

Please note: From 2021, Adobe has discontinued support for Flash player and as a result some interactive files may no longer be playable. As an alternative method to accessing these files a group of volunteers passionate about the preservation of internet history have created project Ruffle (https://ruffle.rs/). Ruffle is an entirely open source project that you can download and run many interactive Flash resources.
