Practice Book 3a

These materials, produced by the Centre for Innovation in Mathematics Teaching (CIMT) for the primary extension of the Mathematics Enhancement Programme, include the pages from Practice Book 3a with detailed lesson plans and all necessary resources to accompany them.

Topics covered include ordering and writing large numbers, using all four operations, rounding to the nearest 10 and 100, properties of shapes, telling the time, metric measurement and number pyramids.

There are daily lesson plans covering weeks one to 16 and each plan is complete with teacher and student activities, together with key questions and references to the pages in the practice book.
