Activity Case Study 10: David Bennett

In this STEMNET activity case study, design engineer and STEM Ambassador David Bennett describes how valuable he believes STEMNET activities are for schools.

David devotes about two days per month to STEMNET activities. He helps with careers events, advising students on what employers are looking for, how to fill out application forms and how to perform well in interviews. His work also gives teachers knowledge of the needs of industry.

"I think it is important for young people to understand what is pertinent and what skills they have, and to be able to demonstrate their abilities.”
