Nuffield Advanced Physics: Foundation Unit

Published by the Nuffield Foundation, the Advanced Physics Foundation Unit was designed to help students progress from GCSE science to the Nuffield course as it was in the 1990s. The physics ideas, questions and checklists in chapters four and five were included to deal with the physics of four of the first-year units:
Unit A: Materials and mechanics
Unit B: Currents, circuits, and charge
Unit D: Oscillations and waves
Unit E: Field and potential
