Shape Games for Students Aged 3-5

A selection of mathematics games for use with early years students, published by BEAM. They include problems and puzzles, cross-curricular activities and resources to develop spatial awareness and pattern recognition. The activities, with their mathematical content, are: *Butterflies - using counters to make symmentrical patterns *Butterfly wings - draw large and small spots on the butterfly's wings *Above or below? - toss a coin and move counters up of down according to heads or tails *Circles and squares - roll the dice and move around the board onto either circles or squares.
