Hands on Science at Key Stage 3

This video, from teachers TV, shows a science communication workshop by Science Museum outreach educators Nora Maddock and Katie Arnott.

Nora and Katie start with a dynamic show about electricity for the whole of Year Seven. We then see a workshop in which students learn how to present and explain a range of scientific demonstrations.

Subject leader for science Nichola Budd describes how to make the most of such opportunities, including how to recreate the ideas displayed in the workshop using simple household props.
