My - What Big Teeth You Have

This practical activity, aimed at Key Stage Two, asks children to undertake a survey in groups, counting how many teeth they have compared to their classmates and then to compare this to different animals.

Linked to the topic of animals, including humans, children learn to recognise the differences between humans and animals and to learn about the importance of keeping teeth healthy. The resource includes teachers notes and a worksheet.

This resource was produced by Genetic Disorders UK, which provides schools with a host of free resources for increasing awareness and understanding of genetic disorders, and is ideal for using with the video Max's Story.
