Textiles: Mass Production Systems and Techniques

This film clip explores the need for a consistent product when supplying the market for uniforms. Customers expect their products to be identical and of the same quality every year. The film shows the a quality control system in a uniform factory, designed to spot defects early in the production process and avoid expensive mistakes. The company used to make its own garments, but due to increased demand it now imports blank garments ready for embroidering. This means every delivery must be quality assured.
