Countdown
This excel file has two interactive sheets, both showing variations of the Countdown game. The first shows a grid for a set of nine letters to be selected, either vowel or consonant. There is a 30 second timer to allow students time to make their longest word.
The second interactive sheet shows a grid for the selection of numbers and the target number. Again, there is a 30 second countdown to enable students to get as close as possible to the target number.
Note
This program was designed by be viewed on a screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768. Users may have to adjust the resolution of their screen for the pages to display as was originally intended. The program uses macros which need to be enabled on users’ machine.
