Galaxy statistics

Produced by the Royal Observatory Greenwich, this teacher led booklet gives instructions on using the GalaxyZoo website to investigate the different types of galaxies in the Universe. It uses the context of galaxy classification to develop analysis and statistical skills and requires that the students have access to a computer. The booklet provides the teacher with key questions to ask the class before and after the activity and an activity sheet that can be used by students to guide their work.
